Default Sound right?

Ok a few weeks ago I had some work done to my SS and had it full dyno tuned by Vengeance and I made 347hp WITH TOPPED OUT injectors(still had stock). Knowing how bad and dangerous that would be to run i had a new set put in while i was there but didn't make another pull. Just wondering if my numbers are right or if I should be making more and if having the bigger injectors now will make a difference the next time i make a pull. Car and mods are as follows:

2000 SLP SS 74k miles A4

SLP Lid w/ K&N Filter
Hooker LTs w/ ORY
SLP LM1
FAST 92mm intake and TB
All free mods

hopefully you had the injectors tuned for the car???

I made 349/367 headers tune only...

your not going to be able to utilize all that extra air without a bigger cam/heads.. that's why your seeing minimal gains.. you might have made gains under the curve tho

Yeh I had them tuned right when they installed them. That's really what I want to do next is heads and cam i already have a set of 243's just trying to build my money up to get the cam and all the rest.

I've heard the stock injectors were good to 400+ hp. I don't understand what you mean when you said "Topped out" Why would the injectors be maxed out?

I'm no tuner or mechanic, just tryin to learn

They had to tune them to 100% for me to get even enough fuel to make power. my a/f ratio was horrible i was running so lean that it's probably a miracle i didnt blow the motor which i would have on the drive home if i hadnt went ahead and had them put in the bigger injectors

I just never heard of the injectors doing that until h/c. but then again I've been out of the camaro loop for several years.

Thanks! And yeah I dont know what was up with it too much but they were the stock ones and had 74k miles on them which may have made a difference lol!

When I was at Vengeance last thursday getting my computer flashed he actually spoke about your injectors maxing out. That the 2000 f-bodies came with 26lb injectors.

Also your dyno session was brought up because I have a 2000 Z28 M6 and had the GM white injectors on my list of mods for my computer flash.

I'm not sure why you were maxing injectors without a cam setup...

How is your fuel pump?

Haha well nice to see I'm remembered I guess! Ron's a really cool guy though.

Fuel pump is stock. during all the work and after noticing my sh*tty injectors they checked the rest out and said it should be fine for now and I trust Ron and his crew so...

yea its still just mind boggling you needed bigger injectors just for headers/intake.. have you got a new fuel filter lately? whats the pressure at the rails?

Yeh I installed a new filter just before going up there actually. Like I said no problems now but as far as I know (bought the car from a guy who knew NOTHING about cars lol) the car IS NOT cammed. As far as the pressure I have no idea I have a brand new set of FAST rails w/ pressure gauge that I am waiting to install when I do my head/cam install.

I would check your fuel pressure if possible. I think its kind of odd that your injectors were maxed out at this power level. On my last car I was able to use the stock 26lb injectors for a heads cam setup that made some decent power. We are at a much higher altitude which would have a lot to do with it, but I still wouldn't think your stockers would have been maxed out. It is possible they were just bad though.

Will do. Ever since my A/F guage reads perfect though, never really lean unless decelerating or at an idle. It does surge a little when I first start it up though but it goes away after warmed up. I have deleted my EGR and AIR systems btw also no cats
