Do you think the tune is where it should be? Maybe a pulley will get you the 7 hp you need?

underdrive pulley will probably put you right over 400 and will cost about 350 including the belts and shipping.

Wait and dyno again in the cooler weather. That way all it cost you is dyno time

Are you sure the tunes okay. Also do you know why does it has the sputter down low.
I would think you should be at 400 now.

Maybe get a better tune, because there is no reason why that car shouldnt make 410rwhp on a dynojet.

i was told the tune is good and it is good except for the sputtering so ill take it back for that,ya it was on a dynojet.
ported throttle body and underdrivepulley should get me there.

I only have a partial tune and the only time it seems to not be responsive is right on start up and when I had lower octane gas. You do run premium with the tune and all?

If it didnt do that before the tune its not a good tune, I would get someone else to tune it or see if the person can fix it.

7rwhp isnt a huge amount, if your happy with how it runs I wouldnt bother for that little of a gain in my opinion. Its still over 400 before it gets to the wheels.

well i assumed it was good because i payed $450 plus $80 in gas to get it tuned.

the sputtering im pretty confident can be tuned out because ive had other cars tuned and this never happened,

Underdrive pulley and ported throttle body should do it, if that doesn't then a fast or electric waterpump will get you there for sure!

if thats a cammed ls6 then its down about 20-30whp from where it should be imo... problem is dynos are different across the board. Get it to the track and see what it traps.

When you say "sputtering", are you referring to low rpm surging or actual hesitation when you hit the gas? I've seen the X5 cause some low rpm surging on the LS1/LS6 motors with stock gearing, but it shouldn't be hesitation upon throttle.

I feel sorry for you Cali boys. Not too many shops out there know what the hell they're doing these days.

I would consider taking the car to Nick at Newtech. Also did you upgrade the valvesprings and what rpm did you make max power at?
