i know TEA has a newer 243 design that uses a 2.04. it flows better than the old design that i have. i would talk to mike and see what he recomneds.

I'd like to meet a fellow ls1tech member and check out the car bro. I should be in town that weekend unless something else comes up. But as of right now my calendar is marked and I'll see ya there to get a first hand glimpse of the beast!

Are you going both days or just Saturday?

algws6 ,,,I already have everything put back together and have put alittle over 100 miles on it so far.
Next week the car will be fully tuned and I will be taking it to the drag strip Sept17. Hopefully my 10bolt will be kind enough to stay together for atleast 2 passes,,ether way i'm trailering it there.

I was just happy to see some results with 243 heads with 2.05 intake valves.
I also used the factory size exhaust valves.
Anyways alot of people feel that the heavier 2.05 intake valve doesn't put out a difference over the lighter 2.00 intake valve especially with the Z06 243 heads that came with the lighter sodium filled valves.
But obviously with your set up you have proven that the 2.05 intake valve can produce excellent results over the factory 2.00 intake valve.
Thats what I was happy to see and hopefully I will have as good results as you did.

no just saturday. i dont like running on sundays due to the fact im at the office by 6:15 during the week. ill see you out there.
