Very nice, what kind of pushrods did you go with? I am doing almost the same set up, but with 61cc 241 heads and a stock displacement LQ4.

Those are some pretty nice numbers considering the cam and drivetrain being used! I definately want to see how the track numbers come out. I bet it knocks out some decent times!

I don't know the push rod length... they're one of the few things I didn't order myself, they were measured for the 61cc heads, I still need to go pick the car up and I'll post the graph when I get it.

I forgot to add. The KPA goes low on the top end, stock maf, slp lid and no ram air thingy under the filter are restricting the ability to breath. Maybe next year or I'll watch for them used.

I've put almost 800 miles on the motor now and I fawking love it, my grandma could drive this car, small cam, short stall and she goes, she handles, she has leather and cold AC!

Not too shabby for a small cam... 3 shake down passes tonight

first pass - off idle

11.42@ 121.93 1.725 60'

second pass - 1000 rpm

11.19@ 121.99 1.577 60'

third pass - spun out - 1500 rpm

11.40 @ 122.24 1.718 60'

Didn't get kicked off the track... although I have the justification to "rate a cage"

I think she'll run a high 10 on motor ?

Very nice. You looks like you are on track for a 10 second car. Better traction at the line and a slightly higher stall would get you there for sure and consistanly.

10cc pistons, i bought the motor as a short block from TSP, this cam is so dinky you shouldn't have to fly cut anything to clear it

I think I looked at your set up a few times when I started to ponder 400+ engines. There's a funny story with that trans, LOL.

I need to go up insize on the lid and maf, then retune. Starting to look at cages and a few other small mods... she's got 10.9's in her

The trans was build by said trans builder for his car, sold to another guy who reverted back to a 6 spd, then sold to another guy (who left it sit for a year), then I picked it up for a song and a dance, I never did buisness with the builder himself.

The transmission has gone 10 seconds in 2 different cars before mine...

This made me smile. Making good #'s and backing it up at the track all on a budget, good job!

Lets see that graph, i would love to see the numbers down low.

I did buy the ram air that night, I'm in Plt Sgt's Course, long hours and studying my *** off, but knock on wood I'm looking at Honor Grad !

I put the ram air in thursday, had to relocate the tranny cooler and mess with a few other things... dropped the air pump since it wasn't hooked to anything.

Budget? I blew that away total I'm into the whole car includeing the purchace, labor, oil, rags all the small stuff for around $23k, but I'm really happy! Heading to Afgan in a few months to put a little back in the bank and save up for either standalone NO2 or a 'real race car'. I can't get a scan of the graph till late dec when I go back to work.
