Thumbs up Dyno Results for PPC Headers

I gained 28rwhp and 33rwtq from PPC long tubes with RT cats & a 3" y-pipe. This is on a car that gained 21rwhp last year when I installed RT Hi-flow cats (stock manifolds) a 2 1/2" y-pipe & a Corsa 3" Cat-back. Not too bad! My new numbers are 362rwhp & 377rwtq. My car is a 2000 WS6 A4, N/A, stock motor with an LS1 intake. I have an LSX on order & will post those dyno results when I get them.

What a factory freak? That doesn't make sense....
Only mods are headers/y-pipe/exhaust all through an LS1 intake!

that is really hard to believe. i only got 345/358 with headers lid and y-pipe through a m6. and on that day i had the highest dyno stock internals out of 20 or so cars. did you buy it new, if not, you must have bought a previously moded car that had a small cam in it

Do you have more bolt-ons? Those are insanely high, that would be hard to get with an M6, let alone an A4. Are you sure your internals are stock?

Question

It does sound a bit unbelievable.

And this part is confusing as well:

Does this mean that the LTs only showed a gain of 7rwhp over the 21rwhp already gained from the high flow cats/Y-pipe already on the car or was it actually another 28rwhp over that too?

No. he is saying he gained another 28hp with the headers. So 21+28=49rwhp.With headers and a catback. I could see 30-35 maybe. Its alittle hard to believe. But so are alot of the dyno #'s you see on the net. They mean nothing

I was there and he did put down those numbers. Your also missing that he has pulleys, tuning and a couple of other small items in addition to a complete exhaust sytem.

I still don't believe he's putting down those #s through an auto, ls1 manifold, and catalytic converters, no matter how well they flow. I want to see an SAE corrected dynograph.

i know, i still think he is at least 15rwhp high for having a ls1 intake with a auto

I picked up 24rwhp/22rwtq from mine. The headers are good but his gains can't be SAE.
