Next I opened the cutouts and started leaning on the tune. With the cutout open I lost some torque in the mid range but it helped up top. I got more agressive on the tune and final numbers are
Uncorrected 685/633

SAE Corrected

I took the long was home this evening.

Nice gains from the exhaust. Looks like you were able to pull it up another 500 RPMs without the power dropping off.

What tires are you running? Seems like 600 ft-lbs of TQ is going blow away anything short of a drag radial

+1
Being able to shift up high is definitely worth losing a few ft-lbs at 3000 rpm when you still have 550 RWTQ.

Right now its on 285/30/19 PS2's but they spin at 50mph it is also 30 degrees out right now. I'm going to run 305/30/19 in Bridgestone RE-11 next. I also have 305/35/18 MT on some oe c5z05 rear wheels that work perfect with a small spacer.

At 30* everything spins.
You might consider some R888s if you're trying to stay on the stock rim size. Not as daily driver friendly, but once it warms back up they'll give you a hope of hooking. I can't see a non R compound not spinning if you mat it below 70 mph.

Nice work on the exhaust fab.

For bolts ons and a cam that car is a beast. Nice job.

Try out some Toyo RA1s or Nitto NT01's. They are totally streetable and super sticky R compounds. Keep the handling... and they hook well.

I love the look of that cam. I like the LSA on it.

It would be nice to see an idle video if possible to hear it.

Josh has the fastest car at the old folks home. Granny said it gets her to bingo on time, everytime.

Wow! These new V's are just plain ridiculous with just some bolt ons. Congrats on the new numbers. Wish I could get one of these.

Beautiful CST-V & great #'s, Josh. I originally wanted white but every one that I looked at out here in white the paint was noticeably thin on one or both doors on the shotgun side of the car.

Man! I can honestly say, that is the fastest 4 door i've ever sat in!!! On I-40 that thing got loose at about 70+mph!!! If my wife wasn't waiting in the TBSS at Mickey D's, we could have kept on going!! just love that Caddy smell!! later Josh!!

I know of a Green LT1 with a cowl hood that would wax your old ride. -Billy
