Bolt on/ Gear/ Full exhaust 2001 Z28
I could not be any happier with the results, the car is running AMAZING and putting down alot more than I expected!

That was the 4th dyno pull if I remember right, here's the 5th:

On the 6th and final pull, they were able to squeeze out these numbers:
The guys at JR Racing are the best! They know what they're doing, and they are VERY fair on prices! I couldn't be happier with how the street and dyno tune came out!

Thanks guys! Yea, my tuner said that my car is the strongest "headers only" car that they've tuned so far, and they get ALOT of cars through there. He said heatsoak was hurting me a little too, so that if I would have had a 160* t-stat, I could have easily seen 350. So I guess i know what mod is next!

Nice! Especially strong numbers for a geared auto. You gotta get that thing back to the track for some new numbers. Was the 8.7 in your sig bone stock? BTW, what did they do to squeeze out the extra 7hp?

Yea, the times in sig were completely stock.
They just kept adjusting the timing and dialing it in to get the most out of it they could. Jeff @ JR Racing has got to be one of the best tuners if not the best in the southeast.

160 thermostat will not net you any power.. these motors crave heat.. if anything the tuner should have done his tuning to the best he could, then let the car sit for awhile and then make a pull.. that would show ur numbers to their potential..
Anyways, good numbers especially out of an a4! Id say you'd make 350 rwhp/367 rwtq if he let it sit for awhile then made a final pull

Oh I know it won't net any power, and the car sat for a good 15 minutes between each pull. He was just saying that a 160 tstat would help to keep the car cooler.

Thought i'd update! Best time before was a 8.7@83mph with 2.0-2.1 60' times, new best time is a 1.9 60' with a 8.2@84mph. trap speed leaves a little to desire, but I haven't been able to get a clean run in yet without tapping the rev limiter. On the 8.2 run it barely hit it before shifting in to 3rd. I need to get the limiter raised and a little more seat time and should be able to crack an 8.0. Mod wise I am done with the car until I leave for boot camp, but whenever I have the time once i'm in the Marine Corps, i'm gonna build a h/c/i forged 347 set up for spray, along with a suspension overhaul and new drivetrain goodies. I'm thinking built 4L80E w/ 3200 stall and 9". I want something that I can haul *** down the drags with but still take out for some highway fun on the weekends. Aiming to be knocking on 700whp's door on a 200 shot.

Haha I know but the motor is set in stone, drivetrain may not be. I want it to be as streetable as possible but i won't mind a little bit of bad street manners since it won't be my DD and i'll only be able to take it out every now and then.
