Any update on this thread. Pulling it out of the grave.
Im thinking of going to this style. Why would you think and Air box will flow more. It makes no sense at all. the stock LS1 airbox has like a 1" "Slit" that takes in air and even that is blocked by the latch "Bulge" in the hood. And 20 HP, I'll bet you break even at best.
