Default EPS 226/230 & LT w/ no cats results

Hey guys! Recently had my CTS-V tuned at FFP here in Sacramento,CA.

Stock it did ~358hp/348tq

With the addition of a Pat G spec'd EPS cam (226/230 .598"/.600" 113+2) and pacesetter long tubes and no cats, with 21* of total timing up top. The dyno used was a Dyno Dynamics, it made...

~419hp/396tq

Car feels good for sure. Car was tuned in open loop as the 02's were barley even working apparently, so I'll be addressing that soon. As far as the cam goes, im not sure if I should go bigger now or not!? NEED MOAR POWA!! Lol

If you're only @ 21 degrees timing there's still 10rwhp left in it easily. I've seen a 10-15hp increase going from 20 to 28 degrees of timing on the dyno.

Those are decent #'s for such low timing, which I'm assuming is compensation for the crappy Cali gas.

He tried 22* and it pinged at about 6k and had a nice little dip in the graph, he backed it down to 21* and it smoothed out.

I was under the impression I could get away with 22-24* but apparently not lol

I'm gonna do a catch can and take my 180 t-stat out for a 160 and see if I can get a couple more *'s out of it...

Hmmmmm that is odd. One would expect pinging lower in the rpm range such as the peak torque area and lower. Also you are not exactly running lean at 6000rpm, in fact a tad on the rich side if anything. Very strange. By the way nice numbers.

I wanted it closer to 13.0-2 myself. But he said this is the way he wanted it. I found it odd it pinged too. It is what it is I guess....
