this is not necessarily true. you can pull the stock cam to the limiter, but it will be slower than shifting it at say...5500. maximizing acceleration involves more than spinning the engine to the moon. finding the shiftpoint(s) that provide the most average power between shifts will make the car the fastest, not revving it to the limiter every time.
so removing 4* of ADVANCE from a 230 dur cam is going to bump the PEAK 400rpm? highly doubt it. **** man, on these crossover intakes, even the trex doesn't peak much past 6500...oh wait, it must be because of the ground in advance....
