So since this is a C6 Z06....you took out the ls7? and replaced it with....? I dont get why you`d stroke a motor to the same stroke as a ls7? Why not stroke the ls7? Please inform me....Specially since my boy always bags on the lsx`s because of liter to power ratio, example: m3`s have a 3.2 and makes 333hp and ls1 5.7 makes 325-350....

Doesn't look like they destroked it. They retained the bore/stroke of the LS7 but used a stronger aftermarket block. There have been some indications that the LS7 block has durability issues having to do with the thickness of the sleeves.

Tell your boy to quit being a stupid ricer with his hp/liter equation. I want to see a stock m3 dyno 330 to the wheels! I have seen plenty of ls cars do it.

I know, hes not a ricer really, but when i say that `which i have` he`ll bring up the fact that the bmw is a inline 6, not a 5.7 v8 or that the new flat 6 Porsche is like 4XXhp....anyways he doesnt get money and reliability etc vs those cars...back on topic though..

Simple way to come back at a comment like that is simply say "alright then it should be easy for you guys to make 5xxwhp on a stock bottom end. Right?"

They didn't stroke it because they know what they're doing. Feel free to stroke yours over 4" when you start building 400+inch motors. Unless you go to a tall deck any stroke over 4" isn't worth it. You get the choice of going to a short rod which will give you a rod/stroke ratio that is just rediculous or the choice of it using oil because the pin in the piston is up so high. Power output from the factory is all based on what the manufacture felt that vehicle needed. Not many BMW's want to play with cars with LSx type motors in them.

Any chance of throwing on a Water/Meth kit to see what you could produce. Possibly keep the car from heat soaking and get a little more timing??

Methanol Kit should have this setup around 750whp with the same amount of boost.
