I'm nowhere near 500 but here is what mine made through a 60E and SS4000 converter. It has 1 3/4" headers, LS6 intake and stock TB, stock waterpump, ETP 5.3 truck heads, and a mild Pat G cam.

Did you have to flycut the pistons to use that cam with the Patriot heads? I was looking at the stage 3 heads from Patriot with the 2.08 intake and 1.6 exhaust. My cam is 244in/248ex 612/615 on a 112. Just wonder if I'll need the pistons notched.

Awesome numbers BTW.

Sorry for the late reply I ordered mahle pistons and had the ls2 rods machined to the wrist pin cost 80 bucks to machine the rods. I installed a ud pulley and gained 8rwhp it made 489/401 it was rich spiking from 3 to 4rpms thats why the lose of Torque. I sprayed with a 200 and car made 701/582. Just ordered a fast 102 intake fast toys 104 lid and Texas speed 100 maf. Hopping that will get close to 500 motor and 1 7/8 are coming soon. Car is a 99ss Camaro

Ported stock castings Can run with the best.... maybe not patriots per say, but honestly you dont Need tfs's to make power.

Top power levels???? Im running 540 rwhp on an N/A 6.0 h/c with GM 799 heads on a mustang dyno, through a 9" 4.56's and 28" slicks, and there is still a lot more room to make power than my junk....

See above.

95 sucks actually, I've done that with a 400 rwhp m6 car, what was the DA there in texas? 480 rwhp even in a full weight car should be 98+ mph in even shitty air.

Honestly, your numbers aren't bad at all, but I dont see them correlating to the times you posted.

Far from, they cost about 4g's... But they flow tons of air...

I dont get your point.... Where did I say nicely ported stock castings cant make power?

And yes 435rwtq is getting close to the limits of natural aspiration and a 3.6" crank.

For torque, yes, your number for hp is way off.... so you should "get my point"... I dont get yours...

You can spin that said motor higher as long as you can flow the air, and keep making power until you run out of air... I dont care about peak torque, it's meaningless....

So then are you here just to swing your nuts and tell everyone how much power your car makes? Because I dont see where you contributed anything to this thread besides "I did this with my set up so everyone else should too."

Make your own thread and you can swing your nuts there...

Lq4 with mahle pitons 11.1 to 1 compression
Stock ls2 rods with arp bolts
Stock crank with arp main studs
Tex cam 244/249 614/619 on 110lsa
Patriot stage 2 243 heads 227cc/85cc with 2.02/1.57 valves
Hardlandsharp 1.7 roller rockers
Fast 92/92 setup with light porting done by myself
1 3/4 headers with y pipe and borla catcack
car is six speed with 373 gears
Got to run at the track fastest pass was 12.3 at 121mph with a 2.2 60ft and 8.4 at 95mph in the 1/8th spinning to the 1/8th car was on street tires
I won't speak to the dyno numbers, but 121 MPH in the 1/4 is flying. You have a great combo.

I have a 6.0 Ls2 with Ls6 stage 2.5 heads, 230/231 112 cam, 1 7/8 LT headers custom fab, 25% UDP, 18lbs flywheel. Stock LS2 intake sucks ***.
Mustang dyno 474 rwhp 430 rwtq. Had issues with maf and fuel pressure when dyno. kept the rpms at 6500 until issue fixed. Probly could get another 10-13 hp out of it. So the numbers are pretty close. I can't fit a fast intake on the car so its being sent off for porting when we stroke the block to a 404. Will make over 500.

Are you for real? First off, you have contributed nothing but wrong information. 480 is not within 30 hp of max potential of a 6.0. I merely corrected you, you also keep bringing up the op has "stock heads". Yes they are patriot ported stock castings, again you are incorrect. Lastly, 121 is pretty slow for that power.

Who is swinging nuts. I am merely showing that I have seen. Lose to the same results and what results I think I will get from the other mods. No one trying to highja k a thread. Just giving information to help prove the numbers and sim builds.

I feel bad for the open poster. He shared his results with the community and now we have this argument going on in his thread.

Dyno numbers do not matter anyway its just a tuning tool, they all read different. Go get some track numbers with that thing with some good tires!

Was this full weight on the motor?
