New dyno numbers on LS3 427 CETA

The dyno runs are as follows.
The graphs that have the max of 471-469-468 HP are back to back runs with dialed in AFR and the most timing(best timing) the engine would take. The AFR is 12.7-12.8. It is hard to see in the graphs. That is with the 224xLC unloaded.
The graphs that show 544-544-547 HP are with the dyno LOADED at 10% across the board. Yes, that is right, the dyno was loaded. That means that with the car loaded it made 76 more peak HP than unloaded. We did 3 runs of each to make sure they were A) consistent and B) repeatable and not flukes. On average with the car loaded it made at least 50 more HP and TQ everywhere. This is in STD format. The SAE graphs show the same power gain, but with a different correction factor. You can tell in the upper right hand corner what the correction is. We also loaded the car up to 15% load and it pulled the same numbers.
Then the rest of the graphs are in both SAE and STD so that people can compare with whichever correction factor they use.
So Cliff's Notes are
A) car makes 471 unloaded
B) car makes 547 loaded or on the street/track, whichever way you want to look at it
The conclusion of our dyno tests on this and a few other vehicles (starting with this one though) is that on some combo's the car/engine/drivetrain NEEDS to be loaded so that it can show its true potential. We tested some other combo's and the power dropped as expected.

i think the load has alot to do with the differential as well, if a LSD has no load on it it tends to not want to transfer any power to the wheeles nice power though im hoping to put down close to the same numbers in my 418 it already made 505/501 in a auto gto with stock intake and maf system

The other car we tested has the GM stock unit, its an 01 SS, So I am not so sure it is the LSD that makes the difference, but any explanation is better than "it just does!".

Nice numbers. Maybe I missed it somewhere but was the conerter locked or unlocked? It's hard to read through on my phone. I have a similar setup built by SD on my c5 with mast heads.

Haha. It trashed the prop shaft on the dyno this weekend. Made 530 to the tires through an ls3 intake...at about 5600 to 5700ish. There is something in the hptuners software that it's calculating gear wrong and was limiting it. We got it fixed and it promptly tore the shaft. It also has a fast 102 now. :-) so we're really curious what it does.

Honestly I have NEVER seen a car respond this well to minor mods. Just porting the FAST and using the larger maf housing with an LS7 maf and the rest of his old Volant intake it picked up an average of 20hp and 20tq....well i should say that on the first graph the gains never dropped below those numbers. This is loaded still. I believe that with a little bit more tuning for the AFR, and we could see 560 as is. Then its on to putting the new lid on to complete the air intake change.
