Questions on my build
#2
a cam swap isnt going to net you all that much.. maybe 10 more ponies...
swapping Lids wont help much if any at all.. you may even loose a few with a swap...
Injectors arent hurting you at all...more injector just means less duty cycle...no change in power
you could actually swap complete intakes... go to a Ported and matched Super Victor with a 4150 or a 4500 Throttle body...
but that a lot of work, ad a lot of changes to do that...including a different hood, and cutting the cowl up.
possibly squeeze a little more low end torque out of it by moving the end of injection timing to a later point in the cycle(in the tune)..but its not going to be anything major..
I would start considering Nitrous...
a simple wet plate 100 shot would do nicely for what you are probably wanting...
simple, safe on a stock bottom end...great bang for the buck..
I dont know where your cutout is...or if its just one or two...
but one before each Cat would be the best place to get some free power.
gutting the cats is always an option too... quite a bit to be freed up there..
moving to a lower elevation will help with the feel of the power... but SAE is SAE no matter what elevation...so the #'s wont change.
other than what I mentioned...all that is left is building a Forged Stroker...going with more cubic inches is the next logical step...
and everything you have can be transferred over...
buy a 383 short block....
