judging by the torque curve on the dyno graph you need to turn the rev limiter up and let this thing eat! lol as long as tq isnt decreasing faster than rpm is increasing then hp will continue to climb. This is badass and the intake is a 3rd of the price of a fast. no, i bet it doesn't feel that healthy on the street in low-mid rpm but line it up to a plastic intake and itll drag that ***! nice results i like it!

I know this is old, was wondering if any more single plane or even dual plane guys have more info to share? Does anyone have any super vic experience or has anyone used the GM single plane? Also interested in how a dedicated build that takes advantage of compression and cam timing for this type of intake. Wave tuning should require much different cam events than for a long runner intake. All the test throw a single on an engine optimized for a stock/Fast intake and say "singles suck"...

Was also wondering how a bigger cube engine plays out too, cubes obviously do wonders for ythe lower end and allow much bigger cams with no ill effects. Any thoughts or experiences welcomed.

There's quite a bit of info on yellowbullet, a big cam and super victor go hand in hand. The midrange tq is ALL there if you get decent compression and a proper intake closing.

I will be getting on the dyno this fall and getting some numbers.

I forgot all about this. I'm really thinking hard about making the switch from my FAST 90/90

I'm doing the vic jr on a cathedral headed 376ci. Should have the build completed in a week or so. It's fully forged bottom end, so I can turn this puppy as hard as that intake wants.

What elbows are the best, and does anyone know if a super vic will fit trimming the cowl? Would a 3 to 4 inch cowl hood work? Has anyone tried 2 pieces of oval tubing to mak an elbow so all the air dosent crash to the back of the plenum, or used a wing inside the elbow to help direct it? Was also wondering, many try 4hole spacers with no performance gain, but does drivability or lowend improve?

I forgot to post my results from a while back. I had it tuned at Slowhawk. They had to shut the dyno down early (6200rpm) in 4th gear due to vibrations (I missed on my pinion angle). They made a second run in 3rd gear.

6.0l LQ9, TEA Stage 2 243's, Comp Cams 231/235 .617/.621 on a 108LSA. Edelbrock Vic Jr. w/Accufab 4150 TB.

458rwhp/410tq, and it loves to rev.

4th gear pull:

3rd gear pull:

I did an overlay of the two graphs. The blue lines are the 3rd gear pull. Projected at roughly 475-480rwhp:
