Default measuring power on dyno from low idle rpm

hello
Do I can damage any components on car if I measure power from idle rpm to maximum, or maybe 1000rpm-?

You can't start from idle in 4th gear you will probably burn the clutch after a couple of runs I also dont think you can do it in 3rd gear if the car was auto.

Why do you want to measure the HP or TQ under 1500rpm??

The lowest RPM I started at is 2500rpm I was running a boltons SRT10 Viper I wanted to see the low range HP&TQ

no more damage than you would incur by doing it on the street...
if its not a loaded dyno, then it will be slightly less stress than on the street

either way... you really dont need to do a pull from that low... start around 2500/3000 ish and pull to the top.

You can do it if you want but I'd suggest a pull from 1000 to 4000rpm or so. Then do the 3-xx dyno pulls.

Started a lot of pulls from 2000 rpms, but never from that low. A lot of the turbo cars I tuned would be at peak torque by 3000 rpms.
