I'd rather save up and build up a completely different engine, 427 or something close to that. RHS block, Lunati crank, Carrillo rods, Weisco's or Diamond pistons, figure a cam size, and some Mozes heads, with a sheet metal intake. I think that would be a good solid running engine.
I don't want to supercharge, turbo or nitrous it either. Just a nice N/A motor with some *****. I know that I could build it myself and be happy with what comes of it.
Maybe once I get tired of this set up, I'll start looking around for some deals for all of those other parts. Should be a fun one to build up.
I just went back and reread it; I guess I just missed the k&n intake. LS2 intake is garbage and a FAST should be a 15-25 rwhp gain although it might not be be worth it for you.
