C5 Cam/Fast 78/Stock 241 heads Dyno Results
I got a good deal on a ported fast 78 and got the car retuned.
I have G5x2 cam, longtubes, boltons and now the Fast 78 made 411/391 with about 5 degrees of timing pulled out for my 150 shot. Could of got a little more without the nitrous tune.

Yea I could of gotten one that was worked to an 85 with a throttle body but it was not a drive by wire one and for the price I got the 78 since I already had a ported stock throttle body. I would of loved to go to a Fast 90/90 setup but for my budget the 78 is doing well and I should get to 450whp after some prc ls6 heads later on. for now with the 241 heads Im happy with it. People who say the fast 78s wont give decent gains guess again

I have a fast 78, but with an 80mm tb. I have an ls6 cam ls6 head stock shortblock car that makes 417whp/399wtq on a dynojet. Numbers were 406rwhp (not sure of torque) a year or so prior but when redyno'd it had a stock flywheel v. a fidanza light weight flywheel on the previous dyno.

Yea the 78s can give good numbers on the right setup, all that was changed was the intake, My car was previously tuned over 3 years ago and we got a best of 406/371 but had to pull the timing out for nitrous final numbers were right at 400whp and with the Fast 78 we kept in consistent at 411whp, actually did two pulls in a row at 411whp and left it there with around 5 degrees or so of timing pulled out for my 150 shot, we defiantly could of squeezed a little more out of it without the nitrous tune.
