Default 228R camshaft results

I have a 99 Z28 M6 with a lid, maf, headers, ORP, and a 228R camshaft from texas speed and performance. The car put 354 RWHP and 338 RWTQ on a MUSTANG dyno. Does any one have any idea on how much power this is on a dynoJet? Also I have a cut out but it was closed when I was on the dyno.

I'm not an expert but I'll chime in with my tiny bit of experience on a Mustang dyno. FWIW, my '00 T/A A4 with magnaflow cat-back and a K&N (otherwise bone stock) with 54k miles put down 311rwhp/313rwtq on a Mustang dyno. A/F barely got above 11.80! I felt that was pretty much where it should have been (the hp/tq, not the a/f). So I don't necessarily agree with the "Mustang dyno's give lower results" argument. They use two different means of measuring. You could see a gain/loss by just going to another Mustang dyno. It's hard to relate one dyno to another period, let alone Mustang to dynojet.

Atleast thats from what I've seen.

Yea I was thinking around there. Those numbers sound pretty good to me with the bolt ons that I have.

Sounds good to me, is there any dynojets near you?

That's not bad for a cam only car. What are you running for headers? What is the lift on your 228R cam? I just had a 228/228 571/571 lift cam put in mine with heads, ls6 intake, kooks headers, 30lb inj & am happy with the new dyno numbers.

If you do have 375 rwhp now, a ls6 intake is good for 10 more, then a decent set of heads should put you right where I am. Fred
