My car lived under 12 pounds and even some occasional 15 pound pulls for over 10,000 miles. 800 RWHP? Not even close but still they can live if tuned right.

800 is a bit much but we had an LS6 car we tuned here with a cam, Fast and a D1 Procharger making 750. Was boosted for about 12k miles. Starting at about 650rwhp then by the end went to 753. Engine had 93k miles on it. It eventually cracked a ring land. Still runs but just puffs smoke.

How hard was the integration of that engine into the BMW? I know that car has a ton of modules/computers controlling just about everything!

What is the weight of the car now? I know they heavy cars.

not to be a dick but i dont see a stock ls1 with stock heads and cam making that power on 14psi. happy dyno? 14psi on a stock ls1 should be around 600 rwhp

I thought so too, but this is also on E85 and in a BMW chassis which could have different drivetrain loss than say an fbody.

Can we find out what it took to get the LS engine in there? I really like these cars, but they are not very powerful from the factory, and there really is no aftermarket. I'd pick one up in a heartbeat if there was LS swap information.

Hello! New at the forum!
There were no modifications to the car, just a new gearbox and engine mount.
Just some cutting to fit the intercooler.

I like the car, and it will live for a good amount of time with a good E85 tuneup.

Very hard to believe, dyno tricks are at play.
