Default Two different dynos two totally different results. Trex +heads + intake.

Hey guys. I have a 2002 Camaro SS. Mods are as listed Ill leave out the litle ****

AI ported 243's 226cc
Trex
AI port matched 92 MM fast
Moser 9 with 4.30's
Ram HD clutch.
Dual gold springs
TSP bullets

Alright car has been dynod twice now at different times of the year, I know that plays a slight roll

Time for the numbers...

Jan...DYNOCOM= 459.5hp 424.8 only difference was I had Y-pip to LM1 before the axle.

Nov ...outside tem 70 ish, inside shop maybe 80's idk. wasnt there. Todays results 447hp and 397tq. This run I had the TSP Bullets.

Funny thing is I noticed a difference as soon as I drove home. I thought i was being paranoid. who knows. maybe I still am. Two different dynos two different results. anyone have experience with these two.

Needless to say , Im bummed out and might switch back to my y pipe with LM1

Enjoy

Ray

Dynocom always seem to be higher. Ive noticed this alot from seeing other people post their dynocom results, especially the torque. I wouldnt be worried about it.

Just curious, did you get retuned for the duals? I ask because I had a H/C ws6 running a ory & maganflow catback. I got it dynotuned and it made 429/402. 2 days later I sold the magnaflow & ory and installed 3" duals and 4.10 gears. A few months went by & decided to see what it would dyno with the duals. 416/395 were the results. I know the gears robbed some power but The A/F went from 13.0 to 11.6:1 and I know that robbed some power also. Might wanna have the A/F checked.

Man i've seen dynos vary all over the map lol. With mods in my sig I made 405 rwhp, and thought that was low until the guy told me almost all HCI LS1's make anywhere from 390-420 on his dyno... Oh and this was a Dynojet as well lol

Aren't dyno numbers corrected for atmospheric conditions & temperature?

All dynos will read differently. Some manufactures add little extra numbers in the simple equation to make the graphs read more than actual. Two different dyno results should not be compared. Just stick with one. Correction factor and weather should be taken into consideration.

Only way to know is to switch back and re-dyno. Sucks I know, but that will give you an answer. Most cars pick up power with true duels. I am going true duels as we speak so when I re-dynotune I will see if I lost or gained.
