Default LS1 SBE 490HP 438TQ on Pump Gas

Update from this thread
https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...date-vids.html

New Pump gas numbers!
490hp 438 tq

It did 474hp 422tq a few months ago.

I installed a 4" Cutout on my Mufflex 4" Catback the other day and the car felt faster so we put it back on the dyno yesterday. I swapped the factory 10 bolt rear end out for the 9" so i could compare dyno numbers from last time. While the 9" is out i'm pulling the 3.90 gears and the spool out for some 4.30's and a Wavetrack locker. For anyone that reads this, Don't put a spool in your street car! IT Sucks with 19"s. With the 9" and 3.90 gears the car went 11.80 @ 118mph in 5200 ft DA.

I made 16 pulls at Boost Performance, a huge thanks to those guys for letting me put some dyno miles on the car. We put some race fuel in for the last 2 pulls and got 502hp / 446tq. The video is the last pull of the night.

Not exactly, I did 474hp pump and 507hp race the first Dyno session. That was when I posted the first thread. I added the 1-7/8 headers, y-pipe, and 4" cat back along with a 102/102 and 4" intake tube and air filter. With all of those new mods it Dyno 475hp pump. I was missed with all the money spent and no gains. The best I could guess was the unported 102 and the muffler might be to blame. I put a 9" in the car and went to the track a few times but the 5,000ft plus DA makes it hard to compare or brag on the netit went 11.80's at 118mph here at 3800lbs. I bought a cutout last week and it felt faster so I decided to Dyno it again. Since I'm putting a posi and some steeper gears in the 9" I just swapped in the 10 bolt for comparing Dyno numbers.

The intake and headers might be over kill for the stock motor but maybe it will like the dual stage nitrous (100/75) that's waiting to go on?

Still the best mod was swapping to a LS1, I can drive it everyday to work and not worry about the opti leaving me on the side of the road.

Well that leaves me wanting to stay with my 92/92 then. Know what you mean on the density altitude at amarillo dragway... i was at the last fun n grudge of the season at the heat of the day which i think was around 6000da ish and managed a 12.6 still running 2.73 rear gear and 2800 stall.. But next time it opens hoping to have ss4000 and 3.73 with a full tune from george (running a frost mail order for now). Your car is making some great power hope we can run em sometime:

The FAST 102 wasnt worth it for sure, but I would not blame it. Different day, different numbers..

Good numbers anyway out of the ole ls1!!

What i beleive he meant was that the fast 92 was ported and the 102 was unported so being no gains there, but with the cutout open it definitly let it unleash the new found power.
