hemispherical heads for chevy Why doesnt trick flow or edelbrock or any other major head manufacturer design and develop a optimal head. Afterall its not like they dont have the money to do it and no it wouldnt be copying the original hemi becuse GM had actuallly developed a oldsmobile big block in the 70's with hemispherical heads and dohc's. And after dynoing or doing whatever kind of test they did back then it showed amazing results like 550ft.lb's and like over 500hp without tuning " but then GM pulled the plug" on the project due to that enviromental bullshit that took down the muscle car era. Thats pretty much the summary of a article from a popular hot rodding mag. that my uncle bought like 2 or 3 years ago. I wish i could put up a pic of the article but dont have a camera but the cover says
