Default TTP Equalizer Cam Hits 438rwhp

We had Michael4034's car in the other day for some suspension items and a 78mm LSX Intake Manifold. Mike's car made 432rwhp in the cold of the winter, so we wanted to re-baseline his car and he made 425.6rwhp/398.1rwtq on the baseline. So he gained 13rwhp and 5.5rwtq from the LSX over his ls6 intake.

This was all done through a Moser 12-Bolt with 4.11 Gears.



Curve looks real nice. He gained hp/tq across the board, not just peak. If we had the weather of the winter months back, he should have topped this number no problem. This was done with no dyno tricks, both belts on the car and on a 65 degree day.



His modifications are as follows:

- TTP Stage 3 Cam Package - Equalizer V.1 Camshaft w/ ASP Underdrive Pulley
- Kooks 1 3/4" LT Headers w/ Offroad Y
- Bone stock LS6 heads -- no valvejob, no porting, no polishing
- Moser 12-Bolt with 4.11 Gears
- Borla Catback, all the minor bolt-ons, lid, filter

congrats!
do you think the 90mm version would have yielded even greater results?
did you use a stock t-body with the 78mm intake? if you use 90mm intake, do you have to switch t-bodies?

You should include the RPM's on that dyno chart if you don't want us to suspect foul play...

I,ve got RPM's on my graph, & I,m pretty sure my track times are comparable to most head & cam cars.

Michael, if this is the case, could we SEE the graph with the RPMs, please? The current one that is posted in this thread does not have them, in case you didn't notice.

If I wasn't such a computer retard I,d be happy to post my graph.
The bottom line is I,m very pleased with the car. It's streetability is amazing, & the low end torque is great. I drive nitto drag radials on the street and have no problem smoking the tires from a roll. I hope to have some new track times this week with the new mods.

The tach wire wasn't working well that day, as you can see it skips out a few times on us. We also only pulled to 6500 on this run, the cam still makes power above that.

The specs are around 230/240 on a 112lsa. It is only available in our installation packages. The full package with dual springs, titanium retainers, double roller timing chain, installation, fluids, gaskets, dyno tune is $1975.

This cam isn't available for sale unless the person buys the entire package with installation? Why would you do that?

Numerous reasons actually.

1 - With this big cam, we'd rather know that the tune is perfect. It is a hard cam to get to idle perfectly. We'd rather not be responsible for mishaps or poor drivability that is accounted towards our cam.

2 - The cam is pretty big in size, it does not require flycutting, but for people that try to throw this on a car with milled heads, etc. and they smack a valve... You get where I'm going with this, more of a liability reason.

Bottom Line... The cam is big and nasty. If it gets done by us, we know the install is done right and we will have no bad publicity because of a mishap.
