regardless. Very nice gain from changing the exhaust setup.

when i ditched my mac 1 3/4 midlength to hookers 1 7/8 i only gained 5 rwhp and 5 rwtq, i'm guessing maybe because you have higher exhaust duration compared to my cam(234 vs 238) i don't know if it's possible or not just guessing here.

I'd like to see track times. These dyno gains just vary so much it's impossible to compare sometimes.

I agree, i was just confused that OP mentioned 466/435 and the graph showed some other numbers. Maybe it's a wrong sheet?

I only picked up 9hp with my cutout open compared to the dual/dual muffler. I thought it would have been a little more.

Funny thing is I was thinking about going w/ 1 7/8 headers on my car then saw this thread. I'm running an EPS cam too.

The graph is the corrected numbers. The car went from 414 to 435 corrected.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would say I talked to Geoff two weeks ago and he said he had NEVER seen a gain in going from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 headers. Apparently he forgot about the OP's car.

IMO, most of the gain was from the dual exhaust, not the headers.

That's a really good point. I had not considered that.

This is motivation to ditch my 1 3/4 Stainless Works long tubes (2.5 inch collector) for some 1 7/8 (3 inch collector) headers.
