425whp cam only c5 So this car is a little bit of a mystery build that I got a really great deal on by buying from a guy who needed the money and did not know what had been done to the car. It needed some work and some tuning but I fixed it up, took it to the awesome guys at Synergy and got it all squared away and here is how it did.
425.3whp and 410.7 lb of torque
Since I don't know exactly what's in it I will just list what I can see and what I was told
stock 1999 bottom end with 80k miles
stock heads (but I can't find any casting numbers on them to veirfy?)
1 7/8 headers, to x pipe with cats and borla atak catback (best catback EVER)
a pretty big cam, I'm going to guess something in the high 230s maybe
fast 90 intake with ported ls2 throttle body on there
halltech/corsa intake
new mcleod street pro clutch with steel flywheel
42lb green top injectors
NGK tr6 plugs gapped at 0.38
fresh amsoil 5w30 oil
smokes a little on deceleration after a hard run (hoping catch can will help/fix) and it has a surprising amount of sewing machine noise but the experts at Synergy said it runs like a champ and made great power
This is my first c5 (last car was bolt on l1 m6 camaro with 100 shot) and I LOVE THIS CAR! so much fun to drive and I am still getting used to how powerful it is. traction at the top of 2nd gear is a serious problem

My 03 Z with a 226/234 eps cam witha vmax ported tb, halltec intake,kooks 1 7/8 with cats and stock ti exh, underdrive pulley made 419 on a mustang with stock 243's
