Best times for the RX7 from the weekend.
Edit added: I found at that he was leaving in 2nd gear at 2500rpm!!! Could not hook on the street tires at all with the added power of the cam and with how light the car is. Customer is going back out on ET Streets next weekend to break into the 10's cam only!

In 2005 I managed 12.2 1.9 60ft on $70 225/50-16 sumitomos when the motor was totally stock through iron manifolds and really crappy exhaust. Now......I'd be afraid to get kicked off the track.....no cage. If he's upgraded the diff (any aftermarket or stock TII diff would do) and half shafts he won't break anything.
I split the gears in my torsen diff back then and it wedged in between the ring and pinion. The stock diff is surprisingly strong given there is ZERO wheel hop...
I'm a little jelly of the cam only power hes got. I cannot quite tell but no power steering and A/C would certainly help too! I like my P/S and A/C TOO much. :-)
Martin should come to Hawaii and work some mojo magic on my car. :--p

Im extremely happy with the car..this past weekend was pretty nice and frustrating for sure but with the new clutch and new power it was hard to figure out the launch. This cam is a must for any light weight car with a ls2 or so..soft till 2000rpm but would not stop pulling till when I shifted at 7000rpm..Tick performances really did a great job pointing me in the right direction..I had a set up that I studied for months before I went for it and they helped me out sorting it out which says a lot since I do my own work..next step will be heads

I knew that cam would be perfect for your car. I'm glad you are so happy with it! If you ever go to Piedmont let me know on Facebook and I'll meet you there to try and assist in any way I can.
