Had car tuned today.

Default Had car tuned today.

Well after a year of sitting the vette is back, we had it tuned today and it put down 504/489, the engine has about 75 miles on it. This is through an A4 with the converter locked, My son took it so I have not seen the graph yet but they tell me it went flat a 5500 and was not making anymore power. here is what we did,

LS3 Block .070
416 ci rotating assy
weisco +5 pistons
Pat G comp cam
LS3 Heads (stock)
LS3 intake & Injectors
LS2 Throttle body
Texas Speed 1.75 headers
Z06 Titanium exhaust

I am pretty happy with he results so far, wish now I would of had the heads ported...LOL

And the list goes on...
Nice numbers. Get some better heads or have your worked and you will see some nice gains I bet. If the graph goes flat at 5500 it sounds like you might some sort of air flow restriction.

Exactly what I was thinking. You are probably running out of air with a restriction in the air intake system somewhere. Also down the road you might want to consider 1 7/8" headers.

I'm guessing either valve float or you're running out of fuel. Stock LS3 injectors for a high compression 416

Not bad. The z06 mufflers will restrict at that power level too. I doubt the heads are an issue.

Is say the injectors are still ok on an na setup at that power.

I did not mean that his heads were causing it flatten out at 5500 rpm just that if he had some better than stock heads it would make more power. Port his GM castings or an aftermarket head. He is obviously leaving power on the table with stock heads is all I meant.
