low numbers

Default low numbers

6.0 L block ls3 top end. Cam'd made 380 wheel hp. I am limited on exhaust size I have shorty block huggers with 2 1/4 exhaust. This was supposed to make 525 hp and between 430-450at the wheels. Can exhaust make that big of a difference?

6.0 iron block l92 heads offset rockers, comp cam, pac 1218, valve springs, chromoly pushrods, ls7 lifters, 90mm edlebrock intake

tremec tko 600 with a nine inch rear end.

i made my intake just a rubber boot and a metal adapter that i welded the air sensor into. and the cam is a custom grind by tms i want to say 595 596 232 234 112

what kind of dyno? i have a close setup but with 1 7/8 lt,3 inch x and catback. t56 with 410 gear. put down 465/432

What kind of edelbrock intake? If it a Vic with an elbow that could be part of the issue but shorties with 2 1/4 pipe isn't helping either

it is a victor. it was an in ground dyne in sac. i am limited on exhaust size because it runs through my frame but i don't have to smog because its reg'd under the sb100...

What elbow is on it? Some guys have lost 30+rwhp from a low profile elbow. That cam doesn't seem like a great match for a Vic either. Usually single plane stuff is on a tighter lsa

its just a 5 inch ish scilicone 90 with a metal adapter for the sensor and the cone filter...

I wish i knew how to post pics so i could show you guys... thanks for the help by the way.

if that elbow makes a difference i can buy a straight scilicone tube and use the same setup... but the exhaust i am stuck unless i build outside of the car like a old cobra... might look stupid

your welcome. looking at the pics i don't see a vic intake? looks like an ls3. who did the tuning? did they have any problems with the maf being so close to the bend or give you any insight as to why it didn't make more power? that car is beautiful though

mark romans did the tune out in sac. the car used to have a problem with it dying after a high rev... he fixed that and put it on the dyno. made 380 hp and 350 tq it is a edlebrock victor i looked at the box again.

unfortunatly that is its current state... my throught bearing failed on me but yes let me email it to you. they were when i was still building the car.

ok well if these pics are the current state you are not running a vic for an intake. the intake manifold appears to be an ls3. do you have a graph from the dyno pulls?
