Locked for both, original numbers were on the stock stall.

This is worthless for comparison.

First of all you're comparing two different dynos.

Second, you're comparing a stock converter to an aftermarket converter that removed 15-20lbs of rotating weight which will impact dyno readings significantly.

Quoted for truth.

I was actually going along with the gains throughout the thread even though they were on two different dyno jets until he said the stall converter changed. That takes all of the relative measurements in this equation and tosses them out the window.

I support the different dynos being off however the rotating weight is moot imo. I have never seen a car dyno higher with a lightened flywheel or lighter clutch op is an auto but the principle applies, also when a car is dynoed with a high stall converter it usually loses power due to it being unlocked. in cases where they are both locked I have never seen a large difference on the dyno regardless of weight of the converter.

Now I do think 20whp is a bit much on a totally stock internal ls1. But I have seen fasts make 15whp more or so on a stock internal ls6 motor over an ls6 intake which is what I'm going for but I would expect around 10 on an ls1 but again thats a guess.

It would be better to take AFR's word for it. They would know what their heads need.
