I'm pretty sure the first pull was more of a fluke, idk how much it made. But the guy logging my tune in the passenger seat said he locked the converter in the second video. If not oh well. Lol

It would be higher locked. By locking it you are apply the clutch in the converter which eliminates it from slipping and pretty much takes it out of the equation (like a manual trans). If it were locked the rpms would go up steadily, not just jump to 5000 or whatever and then slowly go up, like they did in the video.
I just guessed on the number I've never dyno tested an FTI, but my Yank 4000 is around 15rwhp difference on a 400rwhp car (dynojet).
And it can be tuned to lockup whenever but as had been said the slipping will keep the rpms up, locking it at the track would just make the car bog. Only big big hp cars lock converters at the track.

I was hanging there and saw you live. Your car sounds and runs awesome. Yes i was holding my ears too with your true duals inside a building lol. What made me shake my head was people standing in front of the cars screaming on the dyno. Not for me no matter how good the car is strapped down. Great runs.

Haha, yea cool talking to you. it was so loud my brain tickled. lmao.
lets see how the car does after a retune. I was told it needs less fuel, and two degrees of timing.

FWIW most MD's will read 5-8% lower than a Dyno Jet if used 100% correctly. Just judging from the amount of time it took for the car to reach the end of the pull, they are using it correctly.
For your modifications and being cam-only I'd say the numbers are right on par with where it should be. Low to mid 11's in the 1/4 and low 7's in the 1/8th are in your future.

Also, just from what I can hear in those videos....first video is locked for sure. Second video is unlocked for sure.
What I'm assuming though is Bryce meant that the first pull was unlocked which would be the second video he posted and that the second pull was locked which would be the first video he posted.

The second pull, second video I posted, rear view made 382. First pull (front view) made less. I'm just curious if I should pick up any power with the retune. Either way I need to get it tuned, and do more mods.
Martin would this cam be ok for a turbo set up? Or should I spec something else out? Looking to build up a 6.0.
