Heavy truck, big wheels and tires, and a turbo. First thing I would expect is a blown up 4l65, then an 4l80 swap

Id guess 460ish at 8lbs, and close to 500 at 10lbs.

Lol it's a performabuilt lvl 2 with a 2 year no questions asked warranty and its only 2 months old. Once I grenade it and the warranty is up ill do an 80e swap lol I was hoping for a little higher numbers but I'm scared for my stock internals

People have run LQ4's up past 18psi before on the stock bottom end. RPM's seem to kill the motors faster than a specific boost/hp level. Lot of people just slap in some ARP head bolts, port the heads, and do a blower cam/supporting valvetrain and call it a day with around 600rwhp/12ish psi.

I just saw recently there was a car (foxbody I think) with a stock bottom end 6.0 running 8's in the 1/4 mile.

That's crazy. I'm just scared to push it to 10 pounds honestly. Being my daily and I don't have the coin to build it yet. What's y'all's take on it? Leave it at 8 or push it to 10-12? I realize it's all in the tuning...I'm probably not going to shift past 6k Rpms
