Default SNS stage three now with track results(9/7)

Im whoring this out because I had such a hard time finding results with this cam. I am very happy with it, would love to see it with a nicer set of heads now.

Build is fast 92/92, factory 243 heads, SNS 3, 1 7/8 headers, and an under drive pulley. pretty simple.

And the car.

Those are great results! You're at 400 lbs. torque at roughly 3,800 rpm. Nice looking car you've got there too.

Thanks everyone! very effective for the simplicity of the build. So much torque I don't really know what I will do with heads, I want to drive it as is until I break the rear end, then I will get a 12 bolt with some 4 10s loose the 28" tire for a 26". then drive it some more. I have not even thought about heads yet. But if I were held at gun point I would probably get AFR 210s

Why did you have a hard time finding results?

I've never seen a cammed ls1 make as much torque as power before. Looks to me like the heads are a big restriction now.

Seeing this makes me wish I'd have gone with the SNS Stage 3 over the SNS Stage 2, which I currently have. That torque curve is amazing for a bigger cam. I'd love to see what the SNS Stage 3 would do with my AI Dart/RHS CNC'd heads.

Also, how is it with the 28" tall tires? I assume you're a M6, correct. Reason I ask is because I had the toughest time deciding between a 26" or 28" tall tire for my Dark Star wheels. I wanted a big, wide ***, tire on the back and really wanted to go with a 325/50/15 (28"), but ended up going the 275/50/15 (26") route. I figured if I did that, I wouldn't have ABS issues and it would be better for my stock 3.42 gears.

I just have the 28" tires because I bought them used with the tires. I will be getting 26" once i burn through these. It still has the stock gears in it too. I don't want to put money into a rear end that is going to break. It is an M6. It drives very well with the tires and low gear, but that's to me I don't know any different, Im sure once I get the 12 bolt with 4 10s and 26" tires it will be a different car again.

As for going with the stage 3 over the stage 2 after being recommended the stage 2 was that I wanted to be different (have not yet seen much in results) and I had a feeling we would see alot of cam only stage 2s.

I dont know why I had a hard time finding results from this cam, I googled, I you tubed, and I searched. All I could find were idle clips and a dyno sheet or two that had aftermarket heads. The heads are a restriction but bang for the buck the 243s got me where I wanted to be for now. I do love the torque!

Do you have any ABS issues currently with the 28" tall rears? I'd say a good set of ported heads with a decent amount of compression will net you another 40 to 50 rwhp.

I could see that being possible. I did have abs issues, but i just pulled the fuse and I was good to go.

Track Results: (I am super paranoid about the rear end so none of my 60's were anything good.)

Those were just the best of my 12 runs. I was on the Nittos, I don't think i was spinning because every run i did bog, except for the first run (which was also my best time)

It is pretty good to tell you the truth, The car does not like being below 1500 rpm but it does it without bucking. (i usually keep it around 2000)
