Default 500whp 370 daily driver

Finally got to 500whp with my 370. Tried getting there with ported l92's first with no luck. The tfs 225's make much better power and come in at alot lower rpm. Very happy with the new setup. Tuned by sam miller. Mods in signature. Now trying to find a direct port setup for spray.

Very nice! I'm running a TMS 370 LQ9 with 11.5:1 compression as well. Where did did you get your motor from?

Great numbers and setup congrats man...
Direct port 200shot will be sick on that setup.

How do you like the Clutch?
Is that a bug at 5000rpm ?

LQ9 that came out of a Mastercraft boat. Was rebuilt at Wells racing.

I really like the stage 2. Drives like a stock clutch. Has zero chatter but only rated to 550whp. Its probably not gonna like the spray.

What intake with the L92's were you running?
Similar size cam?

That is a healthy cam for only 370ci!

Anyway to overlay the L92 graph over the current TFS225's graph?
Was it on the same dyno?

Nice power for that displacement.

I was running a ported ls3 intake and hand ported L92 heads on the old setup with a 226/236 588/601 114 cam. Never dyno'd but guessing it was about 430-450whp. That setup didnt start making good power till about 4000 rpm.

Has surprisingly good street manners. Brian Tooley spec'd the heads and cam and Sam tuning it probably has alot to do with it, but it has very little surging and the torque is there even at low RPM. Its pretty awsome, this setup has alot better street manners than the old setup that had a smaller cam and made alot less power. I will try to post a sound clip and walk around when i get home today.

Those are ver good numbers out of a 370. A lot of guys struggle to get those numbers with many more cubes.
