I know with a full exhaust setup ls1s have been known to gain as much as 30 hp and 25 lb ft at the wheels my exhaust is stock pretty much i know shorties really dont make any power and i have a stock y pipe with a muffler delete. Im defenitly going to go with a long tube and bigger y pipe soon I live in california strict smog laws

Wow you are really holding yourself back. A converter and tire will easily get you to mid to low 12s. Run at the track to see what the car will run with the baby cam. Then do the converter with DRs and you will see a tremendous reduction in ET.

You have a manual transmission and longtube headers.

He has an automatic (most likely unlocked converter) and shorties.

Couple that with different dynos and different days and you are trying to compare dogs to walruses.

CA laws are too restrictive when it comes to modding which is why I'm surprised he did the cam first as opposed to a converter. Converter and nitrous and then pass emissions all day long.

What kind of tires will you be using? What were your runs before the mods? What elevation are you at?

Your stock converter and torque management are going to kill your times.

What dyno were your #s from?? a mustang dyno give low readings compared to a dynojet. if you go to one shop to another both using a mustang dyno... your #s could be as much as 15whp off from what we've had ppl complain about and going from a dynojet to another shops dynojet it would only be a few whp off.
a stock ls1 a4 with bolt ons and a tune normally make around 345whp and 360wtq.. get some LTs!

I had my car dynoed on a dyno jet dyno it was 90 degrees that day with 18% humidity i. I know with a full exhaust set up i could make up to 370-380 full exhaust and a stall is coming soon. When u say full bolts what do u mean exactly? Lid , bellow, tb, full exhaust, intake?

The dyno accounts for weather conditions with std and sae correction factors. Just so you know, a larger stall will show lower rwhp on the dyno.

Nothing less than a 3600 stall. Make sure you get a cooler and drag radials, street tires won't hook with a higher stall. Check the automatic section. You will also need an Auto tune which will get rid of the torque management. What gears do you have, 3.23s?

Lower rwhp but lower ETs as well. OP, don't let lower dyno numbers from a bigger stall scare you, 60' is where it's at!!

I dont mind the loss because i know a stall will drop my e.t.s and get me off the line faster. I plan on taking a trip to the the track within a couple of weeks and i was just wondering what times i should expect. Plus im gonna race a ls2 gto with cai and exhaust and l99 camaro ss in a couple days so i just wanted to see how my car will stack up agaisnt them i think i will beat both

If you can get a good 60', like less than 2.0, you'll get them if they can't hook. I'm telling you though, you loose time when the auto shifts, with a converter there is a lovely thing called shift extension!!
