Have somebody mash the gas pedal and verify your tb is hitting the stop

And if you installed 1-7/8" headers you'd pick up 20-25rwhp everywhere. Maybe more with 2" primaries.

No updates. I ordered an AEM wideband, which will be installed to verify my A/F. From other cars dyno'd on this dyno, it reads about 20 to 30 hp lower than other dynojets, so that puts me at around 435-440 rwhp and 405-410 rwtq. True test will be 1/4 mile time/trap speed.

Which is exactly what I'd expect it to make.

Did you ever line up with the H/C car you had mentioned?

Pretty much, in another few months the 1 3/4's will be the flavor of the month again

The point I think a lot of you are missing is that it isn't so much about the primary size on these headers, as it is the 2.5" collector that the Stainless Works have. I expect a decent gain when the car comes out of storage in the spring going from the stainless works to kooks and true duals.

The headers I have now are not going to work for what I have planned, so I'll be stepping up to 1 7/8 headers with at least a 3" collector. Anyone know who makes 1 7/8 headers with a 3.5" collector?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I was curious how it worked out for you? Also I didn't see any mention of what size injectors you are running?

The dyno the car was on is a low reading dyno, based on what other cars that have been on it have put down, so it's right at 440 rwhp. The car is a blast to drive and runs strong. I'll have some track times to back it up soon. In regards to injectors, I'm running Accel 44lb/hr injectors with the stock pump, which needs upgraded. Fuel pressure was dropping pretty bad around 6500 rpm's.

Save up for a Fast 102/102 combo... don't forget to open up the intake tract before that as well. Bigger maf, bigger lid. Or SD tune instead. I bet you'd pick up a solid 20-25rwhp and it'd feel a lot faster.

Yeah, I agree. Nitrous is going on the car now. More bang for my buck over the intake/TB setup.
