Vince, a little over 11:1 is 11.3:1 to be exact.

Mike, she will take good care of you, don't worry about that.

Jammer, June 18th, ah? Maybe a little before just so we can have some fun in Detoit!! Your engines now has two turbos attached to it. Sound good?

Scott, soon enuff, just need to get caught up.

Great numbers guys.
I am really happy to see some fast Florida guys. I will defentially have to meet you at Bradenton when you hit the track and see how you do.
I have a very similar combo in a Automatic Camaro. Should be good times for us both.

Beat the June 18 date and you will officially be the first vendor I have done business with that underpromsed and overdelivered on a time frame! Somehow, you never cease to amaze me though. Okay, can I change my sig to...coming June 11th? Better get some necessary parts on order!

So his 408, what consisted of the shortblock? (Rods, and pistons mainly) Iron or Alum. Whats the price on one of these bad boys?

I cant recall what I paid for mine but if you give APE a call im sure they will help you out. My short block was an iron block, Eagle rods, ARP rod bolts and main studs, Diamond pistons, and Callies crank. It was even shipped in an attractive engine crate that makes a great end table

Mikes shortblock was very similar to yours John, but he had different rods.

Callies LS1 Specific Rods, Callies 4.000" Crank, Diamond Pistons & Rings.

Give us a call at the shop for pricing and details.

Mike K. no wonder your IM is off 80 percent of the time. It must be nice to have the Playboy Channel.

So I have a couple more questions about this motor. What heads and intake are on this motor? Also what kind of fuel system will be ran? Can this motor hold any nitrous?

heads are ape 6.0 ltr race heads, intake is ls6, fuel system is stock except for walbro 255l pump and 42# injectors. The motor could handle a 300 shot maybe even more without issue but it will obviously need more fuel upgrades or an alternate fuel system for the nitrous.

Im sure one of the APE guys will chime in on this.

That engine can handle 300 hp of nitrous with no problem. All of the internals in the engine are very good and strong enough to take a good beating. If you were goiing to spray it with that much, like Mike said you will need to have fuel system upgrades. If you have any questions please feel free to call.

Thanks

I hear you talking Jim. We will just have to see about that.... Automatic against M6 is always a good battle. Some use to think I had a powerglide in my car.. I just shift smooth..
