dyno and timeslips for my 99 TA tonight
DYNO:
2nd gear hood closed 251.6 rwhp and 252.5 rwtq
2nd gear hood open 262.7 rwhp and 254.2 rwtq
3rd gear hood closed 250.5 rwhp and 277.1 rwtq
3rd gear hood open 268.0 rwhp and 291.5 rwtq
TIMESLIP:
all stock 14.144 @ 98.01 (WEIRD) (right down to the paper air filter)
with 150 n2o 12.126 @ 116.11 (WOW)
2.02 gain. in theory should've been only been 12.64 using the .1 per 10hp.

I have never heard of a LS1 that slow. Please mod soon before all the mustang guys brag about beting a LS1, or make sure you always have the boddle open.
Also maybe you should run at the track with the hood off, J/K.
Nitrous will take you right into the 11's if you have a sticky tire.
I really cant believe you ran a 14.1, especially because I am guessing it's a A4 due to the fact you never dynoed in 4th.

yes it's an auto. i had the wife's car there also. it ran a 13.30 it was .25 off from best. so factor that in and about 13.89 also that was the only NA run last night. so if i would've ran all night just NA i'm sure it would've went down. don't worry haven't been beat by a mustang yet in either car. another thing the TA is heavier than the formula. on a side note, there was a m6 there last night that could only muster a 14.44. so go figure. rough air and humidity last night i guess.
why not? i run a 12.126 @ 116.11 also. it was a comparison between NA and N2O. i'l be out this wednesday doing all NA runs just so i can have a lower NA time to make everyone happy.

When I fist started my 98 TA only ran a 14.1 all day long. This car sucks. Since then I have gotten it down to a 12.5 but I still have not touched the engine at all. Not even the LS1 intake. I want to get this thing in the 11s before I do anything to the engine. We will see.

yeah i guess i should clear that up. 12.096 @ 115.23 on 150 n2o after changing the wires and fuel filter. and this is on my car. a 99 TA www.stealthram.com/1999TransAm.html previous best was 12.126 @ 116.11 the wife won't let me put it on her car.
