Default Cam upgrade inquiries

So I currently have 224/230 .581/.588 114) cam in my car I have the opportunity to get 237/242 .603/.609 112LSAfor dirt cheap from my friend. how much hp gain do you think I would get? is it worth it?

also what kind of hp gains can I expect from 241 heads to ported CNC 799?

Stock 241 heads to good CNC 799's maybe 30-40 hp, and maybe 10-15 hp on the cam

well thing is I don't want to make it a non drivable street car id assume doing that upgrade will still let me have the car as a daily driver.

Absolutely! Might need a little gear or stall to maximize the combo, but it should be very streetable with a good tune

My fast 90 intake should bolt on to the 799 heads right? And I read the valve covers off the 241 should fit the 799 heads correct?

You might gain a little more than 15hp, but it won't be untill past 6000rpm. You might see 5-10 before that.

However you will gain more (accross the board even) with ported heads and the same little cam. And yes, your FAST 90 will still work as will your valve covers.
