Default whats the most NA power out there on a stock cube LS2??

Im currently making 470 rwhp and 430 rwtq with PRC 2.5 LS6 heads, Torquer V2, KOOKS big headers, no cats, FAST 92, etc..... My question is, where would i be at if i had gone stage 3 heads, larger cam, and had my FAST and TB ported, or gone to a ported 102 setup? Im on a 6 spd GTO thru a Monster stage 3, 1 piece aluminum ds and a 9 inch with 3.70s... Anyone make 515+ rwhp????

Do you gotta pull out all the stops to do it?? Port intake and hand port heads? or is it easily done with a combo like that you think?

We did 511 rwhp & 441 ft/lbs tq on an LS2 Trailblazer SS, stock bottom end. Decent sized cam, trick flow heads, LSXRT 102mm, all the bolt ons and running E85. Dynojet 224XLC.

I don't think you would get that running on 91 octane like a lot of the country has.

This is a poor thread.

"Whats the most NA power out there on a stock cube LS2 that I can afford" is more appropriate. You have no goals, budget, or purpose. Without these three things, its impossible to give you a real answer.

600+rwhp is not even difficult out of a high strung motor with a solid roller.

Goal: make as much power as i can n/a stock bottom end without being solid roller, and no e85.
Budget: whatever it takes.....
Purpose: to beat whatever i can.

Seriously tho, i know a guy that has a SLP blown '10 ss that makes 575 rwhp, and i wanna beat him in a bad way n/a.... he made 505 rwhp with the mail order tune and stock cam and converter. (Thats what they advertised anyway) and that provoked him to do the cam and stall it. I beat him pretty good before, now hes faster. I just wanna know if i can beat him without boost or spray.

Ain't gonna make 515 at the wheels with stock heads (regardless of what ricer stage you go with) through a 9" and gears.

If budget is no issue, then get yourself some TFS 245s and ported FAST 102. Big cam in the 24x/25x should get you to your power goals.

By stock you mean, stock castings?

just put in a stroker if budget is whatever it takes? no one can tell how big a ls is buy its outward looks anyway... you could have a 454 and claim its a 346... you'd still be na...

Yeah stock 243 castings. Maybe a killer set of ported LS3s, but even then those need a bigger bore to really shine.

What you're shooting for is like 530-540rwhp in an OEM rear end (those 9" pumpkins are known to soak up a good amount of power). That's a little bit on the high side for even the best ported OEM castings out of a 364.

Most people that hit 500rwhp in a stock cube LS2 are doing so with AFR or TFS heads.

I'm building an 6.0L LQ9 motor. IT has the following mods:

bored and honed .020"
New pistons and rods (stock), stronger bearings, ARP rod bolts, head studs
Advanced Induction 232cc CNC port n Polished heads to 11.5:1 CR, dual springs, titanium retainers
229/234 .600/.600 114LSA cam
polished crank
stock rockers with trunion upgrade, hardened pushrods
Tony Mamo ported 102 FAST intake
102mm FAST TB, 100mm MAF with LS6 card style MAF
4.5" intake, 25% UD pulley, NGK plugs, upgraded ignition coils and wires,
lightweight alum flywheel, 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, 1 7/8" Lontubes, dual 3" catback with x-pipe

The car this is going in is a 1990 Nissan 300zx

Hoping to put down at least 500whp on a dynojet after tune.

Has anyone contacted fast about making an intake between the lsxr and the lsxrt? Im sorry but when you get into upper flowing heads the lsxr doesn' even cut it in plenum volume. But then again, not everyone wants to run a 4" cowl so they can run a lsxrt. Hmmmmm,
