Default LQ4 with L92 Heads- 470 WHP

I put this combination together 3-4 years ago, finally got it on the dyno last fall and thought I'd share my results.

Basics:
07 LQ4, stock bottom end- added ARP rod bolts

L92 heads, stock- added dual valve springs

LS3 intake, Nick Williams 92MM TB, FAST 50# injectors

Kooks 1 7/8" to 1 3/4" stepped headers

Futral custom grind cam- .63x/.600 lift, 112 LSA, duration in the 220's

25% under drive pulley

This was installed in my 94 T/A, 6 speed trans and a 10 bolt.

Peak numbers at the wheels: 471hp/ 424 tq.

Here are the sheets:

Where the dyno operator is sucking on a lollipop while he's reading the computer.

Oh, I see it says "standard" correction factor. That makes sense, with SAE it's gonna be much lower than that.

So if it was 10hp less? Would that be believable? When I had my Maxima STD correction made 275 whp on dynojet and then SAE made 268whp. Wasnt a DRAMATIC difference.

A random no-name dyno whose results aren't comparable to an industry standard dyno.

Final numbers really don't matter. Would be nice to see a baseline on the same dyno BEFORE the mods then we can compare the AFTER on the same dyno. Thats all that counts. The progress made is what we are looking for. Who cares if it said 800hp.....if baseline was 700 then he went up 100 from the mods...who cares.

I do have to admit though I've never seen someone post dyno results like this before. Use to seeing dynojet graph or mustang dyno or some dyno dynamics chart....never seen this before. What kind of dyno is this OP?

It's a correction factor, which means a percentage you multiple the results by. In your case, that was about .975. So his 470 now becomes 458, which is closer to reality, but still off the normal for that combo.

Hell, I had not idea what a lollipop dyno was either, but figured I'd make a smart *** comment about it.
