Cam only dyno #'S....why so low
321 hp at around 5k
330 tq
Starts dropping off hard at 5500.
I'll post dyno graph after bit, guy at the dyno says it's my exhaust is crap. Said to change to LT and duals and I'll see another 40hp..??
Was it tuned or just dynoed? What was the air/fuel and timing?
Auto or manual transmission? If auto what converter and was it locked?
Headers and decent exhaust will definitely help a lot...I would expect no less than 25rwhp from them (and likely 30+). Even more if you mean it has nothing but a weld in flowmaster on stock exhaust pipe or poorly bent shop pipe that's anything less than 3". You either want large single with a good merge collector in the Y pipe or at least 2.5" duals.
Past that you just might not have much left to look for, it's a smaller cam with a heavy converter. My current setup only made 390rwhp unlocked and that's with a good mid size cam, cleaned up 799 heads, FAST intake, and 3" duals.
I used to have a 230/224 cam on a 111+3 and with the ls1 intake, headers, 2.25" duals with dual cutouts, stock converter unlocked, mail order tune. Made about the same as you on a dyno where bolt on ls1 cars were also making similar. Car picked up a lot with FAST intake (your ls6 intake should be fine), 3" duals, underdrive pulley, and dyno tune.
