I think it looks great. I m an e85 fan, but pump and meth is good too. Looks like your gonna run outta gear unless you plan on shifting into 4th....Itll love 3.25's or 3.50 gear and 315 60's......

3.73s is what was in it from before. I'm going to drop down to like a 3.50 or so...not too sure yet on what gears to go with. The rear end is a Moser 12 bolt. I honestly wasn't paying attention to what it spooled at...but it spools quick on the street with the st all and all that. I bet some lower gears would help out quite a bit too.

Gotcha.. I ask as in the near future I will be hanging PT6768's in my truck being fed by a 418-427" motor (currently a 418" but that will change with the new block).

Congrats, nice #'s for sure.

I would go back to a 3.42 rear gear for a 6 speed street car. I can brake the rear loose in my car around 4k rpm in first gear and I'm 100+ hp less than you. Thats with a 315 wide nitto dr, and a blower ramping up. Your car looks like it hits very hard.

What do you think about a 3.42 in my setup? Or should I go with a 3.27... The car does hit very hard.

I'm now relocated in an e85 abundant area so I may switch fuels. The car should make some good power on 18psi

These turbos are at full boost near 3800rpm. I'll go out and do some more pulls and let ya know

The 6768s should be a lot faster with some more cubes.

What made you go with a 7268 vs a 6768? From what I understand the 67/68's should make close to 1300rwhp, are you planing on more than that?

Thats what the guys at Huron Speed reccommended when i told them i wanted 1000rwhp. Also, I just moved to the bay area. Im in a work condo for the next few weeks until I get a house. Im looking down in San Jose. I work in redwood city. So the car is nearby and Im looking to meet some fellow gearheads down this way. I know a couple people in SJ already but the more the merrier.

Interesting as the 6768's are what John ar Huron recommended to me (418ci at 7,500 rpm with 1k+ rwhp through a glide and 9"). I work in Santa Clara but live in Salinas, not all that far from you.

Im getting closer to my 405 running.....doing the piping now, but I still need to do the 9 inch housing. My 405 has a 80 mm , e85, 3000 stall 4l80e. Its running a accell gen7.

I have built and run more than a couple turbo f bodies, and I ve run 2.75's with a th400 ad 2.73 s in another....Very very little downside. The fact is, I never really run on a great track.....so 3.50's would go up in smoke hitting to hard. The car weighted 3950 ran 10.00 with 2.75's and a 275 et street th400. It 60' in the 1.50 area best of 1.48....not great but good for a basic street night track, not a psca or nmca prepped track.

So now I think Im gonna do 3.00's or 3.25's with this 4l80e but I cant get a very tall tire either....in this body....its a wagon at 3200 lbs. I have 3.00 s so I might use em.....

If they prep your local track well.....a little more gear is ok I think, I just dont see that much, ad after hours of waiting for a pass, I hate to have it go up in smoke.

Impressive numbers for 9psi on a MD on 91 octane and no methanol to boot!

It may make 1000 on 16-18psi!

I sure hope it does. I want to break 1000. It must be that badA** cam that I have in there. The 8* of overlap sure does sound nice at idle for a turbo cam.

I would take some of the advice from some of the other guys that have personally ran lower gears. I wouldn't even consider any thing higher than 3.42's though. I had a thought to get a junk yard rear out of the auto with 3.27's toss it my car and see how it drives, it would make for some long gears. Have you had her out on the street for some miles by now ? I'll bet its a hand full

Yeah I have had it out on the street quite a bit and it sure is a handful. Now that im driving around down here at sea level the car has much more power out of boost that its not loading the turbos much with the 3.73s. I will definitely have to throw some 3.27s in there and let it eat.
