Yup. I need to make a sticky on valvetrain setup for the Internal Section. Something like what I've done is based on a lot of smart people figuring that out a long time ago.

Unfortunately, in the quest for a dyno sheet, a lot of people don't think about that and go with a ****-poor combo that might run like hell on a non-load bearing inertia dyno and then blow up in 6k miles.

Btw, mine doesn't really cackle. It's just loud. The x-pipe smooths out the pulses.

10 hp would be worth it to me. My car is purpose built for the drag strip.
Going to run all out with this current setup and see what it will run.
I would consider 102 but plan on doing some square port heads in near future and that would require ls3 style 102. Decisions. I'll keep yall posted on results with different components.
Probably close to 500whp dynojet now with current setup.

I know of the tuning difficulties with the FAST 102's but still found it strange that one would go to that extent to open the intake path and then neck it down.

i cant really comment on the tb itself because the 102 obviously makes more power. I believe it has more to do with the "step" that occurs with the 92 tb on the 102 hole. because as the dyno showed the 102 showed no vacuum different thus no restriction in the intake tubing

How much do you think your setup now 102/102 is worth over a 92/92?
Thanks

honestly i'm not sure. I recall vengeance doing a swap on a cam only c5 and getting 10whp. i would try to contact tony mamo though. vengeance does very little porting on their manifolds and the beauty of a 102 is the amount you can take out of the runners vs the older ones. he has done hundreds of them so if anyone knows the true figure it would be him

My buddy lent me his 102/102 for an upcoming 1/4 mile event. I report back whether it picks up et or mph and how it affects the tune.

cool man sounds good. I just picked up a new acpt cf driveshaft. its about 5 lbs lighter than the aluminum one i have on there. I was worried about breaking mine but didnt want to put a heavier shaft in the car. This should hold anything and also will remove some more rotational weight!

On my xmas list is a turn one pump my stock one could use a replacement and the turn one will free up a couple plus help out my driveability around parking lots

Where did you get your driveshaft? You can PM if you want. I've been considering doing one for dropping some rotational weight. Our builds are going to be similar once my parts start rolling in.
