Quick mod list:

131k LS1 stock short block
Huron Speed kit
Turbonetics 7875 .96 a/r
317 heads
1218 pac springs
Pro comp head studs
LS9 head gaskets
Stock cam
Brain Tooley lifters
7.375 PR's
FIC 1000 injectors
Twin 430 lph fuel pumps
E85 with -8/-6 fuel lines
Full 3" exhaust to a Hooker Maxflow muffler
3" exhaust cutout (open during the pulls)

Solid numbers! I am surprised it is still holding together at that power level.

Impressive. I'd love to see how far you could push the stock short block!

This is very nice. I wonder how much more could be had with a custom turbo cam? Also curious how well and long this LS1 will hold together. It is really tempting me to sell off all my NA stuff and turn down the dark road.

LT1Ray - What rear end do you have in this thing? Can you give us a quick run down on the tranny and rear end set up? 738 lbs. torque is just sick in that car!

Ray, could you give us a little more info on the fuel system. Is the car still running the stock fuel lines? I know you said he's running twin 430 pumps and FIC 1000 injectors, but do you know what regulator he's running?

It has a Texas Drivetrain Performance stage 2 T56 and a Hinson Street Slayer clutch. Stock rear end

I thought I included the fuel lines in the original post, but it has a -8 feed and -6 return setup using the factory fuel rail. The fpr is an Aeromotive unit off of Amazon (its around $120 bucks). It's returning off the regulator directly to the fuel tank.

The car has actually been at this power level for a while now. On the street it makes another 1-2lb of boost. Here's a 3rd and 4th gear pull on the current setup.

Thanks Ray. I'm trying to plan out a turbo build myself, and the fuel system is the part that's confusing to me. Sounds like I can mimic this fuel setup and be good for at least 700 rwhp, which is all I'm really after anyway being on the SBE LS1. What type of hotwire kit did you use?

LS1 E85 Turbonetics 7875 16lbs - YouTube
ahhhhh your the same one that hurson speed posted the video on their fb page a week or so ago.

wow your making that kind of power on the stock 10bolt?

jason did my t56 as well. mines a forged l33 with a pt88. still got a ways to go. nice to know the 10 bolt can hold for a little bit. lol.

how hard was the twin fuel pump setup with the 430s?

Chris (current owner) started off with the new racetronix twin 340 kit and the pumps lasted about a month. I'm not sure if it was from using e85 or just crappy pumps but I talked him into the 430 pumps. If you want help setting up your fuel system I can pm you all the parts needed along with a bunch of pictures.

This is the regulator on the car, its the same setup I have on my Trans Am as well.

It's just a street car on street tires, if we were at the track with some radials it would have been dead along time ago lol.

Chris did the install of the 430 pumps but its pretty straight forward. Little cutting on the bottom of the bucket and they slip right in. Hardest part is getting the bucket back in the tank.

Yeah, if you don't mind, that would be great. I really like the Lonnies double pumper complete fuel kit, but if I could piece one together for cheaper and still support my needs, that is what I'll do.

Ray, I'm also interested in the fuel system info. I have the TC78 truck kit on my T/A and have 80lb injectors, Holley Rails, an FPR, and so far a single Walbro 430 all sitting until the stock driveline comes out in a month or two. Any info and such on a simple and effective setup is appreciated. Thank you!
