Default [VR] Theta's 416/Novi 1500 C7 Build - 881/802 on 93 octane and meth

The owner of the vehicle displayed in this thread needs no introduction to the CorvetteForum C7 community. Our good friend "Theta" has contributed a lot of very good DIY information to the community, and we are very proud to be a part of his build!

Theta's car arrived to us several months back with the original plan of us installing our LT1 custom camshaft kit, buttoning up his methanol system install, and a new set of wheels and tires. This quickly snowballed as time went by, and ended up turning into a max-effort build on the ECS 1500 supercharger system.

First, we started with pulling the OEM LT1 short block and began building the 416c.i. heartbeat for the new build.

The engine consists of:
* Wiseco Custom Forged Piston Set
* Callies Compstar Connecting Rod Set
* Callies 4" Magnum Crankshaft
* Calico Coated Main/Rod Bearings
* ARP Main Stud Kit
* ARP Head Bolt Kit
* VR Stage I 416 Custom Camshaft (Non-DOD/retains VVT)
* VR CNC Ported Cylinder Heads
* OEM Intake Manifold

Once we had the engine assembled, we were ready to start placing it back in the cradle and begin re-installing the supercharger and methanol systems.

Check out those custom billet Vengeance Racing valve covers!

The supercharger is the base ECS Novi 1500 system with no restrictor plate installed and a 12psi pulley.

For methanol, we upgraded Theta's existing single-nozzle AlkyControl system to their dual nozzle setup with our IAT breakout kit. We also installed a Dewitt's high-performance radiator and LMR 160* billet thermostat/housing for additional cooling help.

To top off the build, we also installed a C7 Z06 front grille assembly and a set of Cray Brickyard wheels wrapped in Toyo R888 rubber to both improve the styling and help with the new-found loss of traction on OEM tires.

---

After a thorough break-in procedure and driveability tuning, it was time to hit the rollers. At a 12psi, we were able to achieve a neck-breaking 881rwhp / 802rwtq :woohoo:

Overall the car drives like a baby while still making monstrous power for any street car. Be sure to look out for this blue devil to be tearing up the streets in the midwest once the snow clears!!

And all with just a Novi 1500. Pretty impressive.
