as most of you know i have been building a 427 for my Z06
here are the specs
4.0 stroke
4.125 bore
HYD roller cam
CARTEK ls6 stage 5 heads
93 octane pump gas
steel flywheel....may switch to lighter one later...
3.90 gears
KOOKS 1 7/8 headers
VARA-RAM
FAST intake and 90 mill tb

575 rwhp 528 rwtq dyno with full exhaust and all belts on and with pump gas!

as you guys know dyno #s are one thing

track #s are a whole other story.....so i plan to take this new monster to the track!!!!

my goal is 9's N/A with a 6 SPEED

That is awesome (for lack of a better word), sounds like you have a nice reliable car you can drive to track, lay the smack down, and drive home. Congrats! Smart racing

thanks guys

julio will post the dyno graph soon

when i started with the build up my only requirement was

93-94 octane and street-friendly

i personally do not know the cam specs

i do know the comp. ratio to be 11.2 -- 1

yes i still have the 6 speed tranny and hope it will not expode!!!

we are going to try a few other things to help out those #s
like....boost a pump

when we tried to take the belt off on the dyno the fuel pressure drops 20lbs....

we also want to go back to the light weight flywheel
right now we have the stock one in...

and a few other changes which i cant speak about....

as always i plan to back it up.....if i can hook it up @ the track
only will tell
