Good numbers though the 12 bolt. I still have the stock SS (two piece) lid. It is supposed to be better than the Z28 one with the air baffles. Maybe it's time for a change. My numbers are with the cutout open. I was down about 6 hp with it closed.

Didn't mean to take anything away from you dyno numbers by talking about lids.

Are we talking here of the SLP Blackwing lid that was an option on the 02 SLP SS's? Or the SLP PP lid that resembles all the other lids out there? I would tend to believe that he was able to pick up 10rwhp over the Blackwing lid with an MTI lid but I made 399rwhp on stock heads with a TR224 cam with the Blackwing lid so it can't be all that bad! I'm going to Rapid Motorsports on the 15th to have my car dynoed after the new heads, I'll ask Mikey if he has an extra lid lying around and we will see if a SLP, MTI, TSP etc lid will outpower the SLP Blackwing!

i agree if it was the blackwing lid that came with the 02 ss's then a 10hp increase with the mti lid would be believable but if it was the aftermarket version of the slp lid then i doubt you would see any differance between the mti and the slp lid but enough with the bickering congrats with the numbers
