Not a bad idea....lol not sure the shop would be up for that. Im more than intrigued to see what happens after I get the cats off. Driving it around town....it feels....corked.

Here are the graphs i do have. This is also good to show OP, in order to not get too caught up in the numbers game. the last one was std correction. The SAE numbers were 510/480

The first two are within 10 not that far off and if the second was in smoothing 5 it might be a little closer. The one in STD at that power level would probably yield more than a 10 horse difference and bring it to 500 or a bit lower which again is with in 10 horsepower of the first and inline with the second . I will post some graphs in STD to SAE to show you tomorrow.

I have a 418 ls3 but in a fbody m6. My numbers are low as well. Im only at 464rwhp 466rwtq. However my dyno was on a mustang dyno not a dyno jet. I have cats and a y pie and a lame catback. Im praying that switching then up for true duels and taking it to a dyno jet ill pull 500+. Maybe my tunes off so ill have it checked as well. When you factor in the 12% difference from mustang to dynojet its 520 but i want to see it on there first.

What heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and compression are you running?

I feel like its holding me alot. I havent had time to mess with it but when i free up the exhaust and take it to a dynojet ill see if i get the numbers im looking for. From what i understand the more power you have the bigger a change in something like that will do. We got big 400+ cube motors they got to breath.

Are those recorded as Flywheel numbers or rear wheel on your Dyno? Just curious, thanks

I wonder what your cam specs are. Do you have a dyno graph to post?

What are your cam specs Double J?

Same run SAE vs STD 17 Horse difference and close to your power level.

Hopefully the cats were bad and you find the power that's missing

Will do. Im thinking im gonna do the exhaust and take the cats off. I want true duels. Whats a good true duel setup other then kooks. I want kooks but i dont want to spend 1600 on something that possibly wont unlock my power. I might take it to a dynojet and see what numbers i can pull from that.

With the valve covers off, A dial gauge and degree wheel you can figure out the exact specs of the cam.
