Those are some really good numbers for that setup. Will be interesting to see what it traps at the track

Thanks! The car is pretty much 100% street driven, but I sure would like to see what it can do at the track for fun. Thanks for responding again. You answered some questions for me a while back when I was considering some PRC 5.3 heads. These AI heads ended up falling in my lap and were a great price. Owner decided to go in a different direction and were never used. Still in original box. I'm super happy how they turned out power wise. Car sounds meaner too. Debating a different cam in the future but for now I'll stick with what I have.

No problem! Good choice on those AI heads as well. The 5.3's are great for the money but not in the same league as the AI stuff

Those are great numbers in my opinion through an auto. Thoughts of upgrading injectors?

That...doesn't seem right. 91% 28lb injectors and 450rwhp?

Thanks Scott

Injector upgrade is def on the list. The duty cycle is getting up there on these stockers. Its
mostly a street car, and not always at WOT so even at 91% I believe it can hang for now. When it happens, I will probably go with some fast 36# injectors. Maybe 42# green tops. Just not sure I need that much headroom to justify going 42#. Could be a good future proof idea though.

I thought it was a little odd at first. Then I remembered how all over the place reported duty cycles can be. All cars are different. One instance someone maxed out stock injectors@ 400rwhp., and another was not maxed out @460 rwhp.... As long as I don't see or feel any fuel delivery problems..I'm cool with that duty cycle assessment. Or at least until I upgrade.

Nice numbers. I made 455/413 on stock injectors years ago. No issues.

Congrats, nice numbers.

Just curious if you had considered having AI spec you a cam to go with those heads? Probably pick up another 20 or so hp/tq.

Thanks. Nice to know you had no issues as well. Considering you were making 5 more hp than my current set up. Good deal.

Thanks....and yes I have. They had some really good suggestions. I originally emailed them about getting a little more info on the heads before install. They were bought from a member on ls1tech. Even though they were second hand...AI was very cool and helpful. Guess i just decided to hold off for a bit and take my time. Cam Motion seems to have awesome stuff too.

Well turning out good numbers like that will definitely hold you over for a while. Once your wanting to squeeze a little more out of it you can always look into it then.

Good numbers do you plan on putting it on the same dyno that your old numbers where on?

My original numbers were from the previous owner. That dyno was in Georgia at Vengeance Racing. The new #'s came from straightline performance in Joilet, IL... So I guess the answer is no.
